พรพรสำฦต grads enjoy high employment, growth in earnings

92% of employed 2020 grads living and working in New Brunswick

Even as a second year of COVID-19 restrictions continued to disrupt the labour force, พรพรสำฦต’s class of 2020 experienced a high employment rate of 90 per cent one year following graduation. In 2021, 96% of พรพรสำฦต’s 2018 graduates were employed. Of these graduates, 93% were working full-time and their average weekly earnings had risen 19% since 2019.

The results of the annual Graduate Follow-Up Survey conducted by the Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training, and Labour also indicate that more than three-quarters of respondents from the Class of 2020 are working in jobs related to their fields of study.

“Enhancing the social and economic well-being of our province is พรพรสำฦต’s purpose,” said Mary Butler, President and CEO of พรพรสำฦต.  “The results of these graduate follow-up surveys confirm that พรพรสำฦต students can be assured of solid employment prospects, and employers can be confident that พรพรสำฦต graduates will enter the workplace job-ready.”

The survey also found that, of those employed, 92 per cent of them are working and living in New Brunswick, contributing to the province’s social and economic prosperity.

“พรพรสำฦต’s enrolment continues to grow, with an increase of 25% over the last three years. As the province’s largest provider of skills training, we have a crucial role to play in transforming New Brunswick’s workforce,” said Butler. “With a third of New Brunswick’s workers set to retire in the next few years, and technological advances disrupting jobs, our graduates are well-positioned with the skills security needed to succeed in the workplace.”
