พรพรสำฦต staff win National Inclusive Education Award

At New Brunswick Community College (พรพรสำฦต), everyone is welcome in the kitchen.

Instructors Owen Brinson, Robert Black, and Kevin Robert from พรพรสำฦต's Cook Instructional Program were recently honoured with a National Inclusive Education Award from the New Brunswick Association of Community Living (NBACL) and Inclusion Canada.

The award recognizes individuals and groups who have been leaders in incorporating inclusive education practices both in and out of the classroom.

The instructors were selected based on their commitment to providing a safe and positive learning environment; and ensuring supports are in place to help students successfully complete the program.

"They endeavour to provide all students with a positive learning environment where they are supported by their peers and feel safe to ask questions or for additional help," NBACL said of their work.

พรพรสำฦต is one of seven New Brunswick recipients for the 2022 National Inclusive Education Awards. The awards were presented by The Honourable Brenda Murphy, New Brunswick’s Lieutenant-Governor, in a ceremony held at Government House in Fredericton.
